Arena YOU'VE seen the TV series, you've been to the movie and now those mischievous Rugrats have their own stage show. The Manchester Evening News Arena will play host to the eyeopening Rugrats A Live Adventure, for three days from November 16. The cartoon favourites will come to life as six-feet tall, nappy-clad babies in a stage show featuring singing flashlights, dancing scissors, monster swarms of bees and a huge dinosaur. The action will be driven along by a wild variety of music, from James Brown funk to operatic arias.

The Rugrats are so popular with kids aged three to 13 and a few adults too that TV channel Nickelodeon screens the show three times a day, seven days a week. The recent release of the Rugrats movie was a runaway success, with nine MILLION cinema tickets so far sold. Tickets for the stage show, which go BY PAUL TAYLOR on sale tomorrow, are also expected to be snapped up quickly. The creative team behind the TV series is also involved in the stage show. But the diector is Danny Herman, who spent three seasons in charge of the world-famous Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey circus.
