Paaja HI Th 8fr-Pmocr1 Friday, Jun 17. ItSt Obituaries F.C. Henckel Sr. ASTON Frederick Charles Henckel of RD 6, Easton, a retired club manager, died at Memorial Hospital at Easton on Thursday, June 16, 1988. He was 74.

Born in Greenwich Village, N.Y., on April 24, 1914, he was the son of the late Frederick Gottlieb and Bertha Weiher Henckel. As a youth he moved to Philadelphia, where he attended public school and then worked for the Philadelphia Transportation Co. until moving to Easton in 1949. Since moving here he had operated a service station, worked in the sales field as an automobile, boat and liquor salesman. He then worked as a club manager, first at the Easton Moose Lodge, and then for 10 years at the Miles River Yacht' Club, before retiring in 1976 years.

He was a member of the Train Collectors of America. In his spare time he enjoyed working with his model trains, playing cards and going to Atlantic City. Mr. Henckel is survived by his wife, Emma Louise Williams, whom he married in 1950; two sons, Frederick C. Henckel Jr.

Of Easton and Steven W. Henckel of McDaniel; two brothers, Norman P. Henckel of McDaniel and Alfred F. Henckel of St. Michael, and two grandsons, Steven W.

Henckel Jr. and Justin Henckel. Another son, John Wayne Henckel, died in 1969. Funeral services will be held at the Memorial Hospital In Easton. He was 58.

The son of Willard H. and Lucy Long Green, he was born near Rldgely and lived in the area all his life. Mr. Green worked for the Mulholland-Harper Sign Co. in Denton for 24 years, retiring In 1987 due to illness.

He was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church In Marydel, Del. Mr. Green is survived by his wife, Virginia E. Green; one step-son, Eugene C. Elliott of Henderson, two stepdaughters, Faren S.

Elliott of Silverspring and Faith. E. Ross-ing of Smyrna, two brothers, William Green of Denton and Paul Green of San Diego, three sisters, Mariam Collison of Rldgely, and Mattle Conner and Jean Blackburn, both of Denton; one grandchild and 12 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 18 at the Moore Funeral Home in Denton, where friends may call at 3:30 p.m.

Saturday. Burial will be at the Townsend Cemetery in Townsend, Del. Memorial donations may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church in care of Mrs. William Holden, Route 1, Box 63-A, Goldsboro, Md. 21636, or Calvary United Methodist Church in care of Mrs.

Phillip Martino Route 1, Box 219-B, Marydel, Del. 19964. Donald L. Jones SEVERNA PARK Donald Lee Jones of Madary Road, Severna Park, died at Northern Duchess Hospital in Rhlnebeck, N.Y., on Wednesday, June 15, 1988. He was 67.

Born in Easton on Nov. 21, 1920, he was the son of the late Judge Alfred Thomas and Hattie Mae Helsby Jones. He graduated from Easton High School in 1937. In 1941, he began his 40-year career with C4P Telephone retiring in 1981 as a manager in Annapolis. In February 1942, he married the former Marjorie Nichols of Cambridge.

Mr. Jones was a 47-year member of the Elks, a charter member of the Severna Park Lodge 2482, and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. In his spare time he enjoyed watching baseball, especially the Baltimore Orioles and gardening. Mr. Jones Is survived by two daughters, Donna Lee Hanbldge of New York City and Oyster Bay, N.Y., and Deborah Jones Barrow of New York City and Rhlnebeck; a brother, Ralph H.

Jones of Easton; a sister, Pauline Jones Klnlock of Easton; two grandchildren, Laura Hanbidge and Alexander Barrow, and a niece and two nephews. Two brothers, Alfred Claude and J. Paul Jones, died in 1960 and 1974 respectively. Funeral services will be held at the Newnam Funeral Home In Easton on Monday, June 20 at 11 a.m. The Rev.

Allen Clark, a retired Wesleyan minister, will officiate. Burial will be at Spring Hill Cemetery in Easton. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 7-9 p.m., and at 10 a.m. Monday. An Elks memorial service will be held at the funeral home preceding the funeral service.

Jean McAlnsh EASTON Jean A. McAlnsh of E. Dover Street, a retired copy preparer at Waverly Press, died at Memorial Hospital at Easton on Saturday, June 11, 1988. She was 69. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Dec.

8, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Edith Teasdale Hendrlckson. After graduation from Sewanhanka High School in Floral Park, N.Y., in 1936, she worked as a secretary for Texaco in New York City. In 1948, she moved to Easton where she worked for the Easton National Bank until 1951. She then went to work at Waverly Press, retiring as a copy preparer In 1981.

She enjoyed reading and traveling. Her husband, Kenneth M. McAlnsh, died in 1961. She is survived by several cousins. Memorial services will be held at the St.

Mark's United Methodist Chapel in Eston on Saturday, June 18 at 4 p.m. The Rev. Dr. Edward R. WUkins, minister of the church, will officiate.

Memorial donations may be made to Stephen Carney's Cancer Clinic, Route 3, Box 106, Easton; Md. 21601. Arrangements are by the Newnam Funeral Home in Easton. Lomax Jr. WORTON James Earl Lomax Jr. died at his home near in Big Woods near Worton on Wednesday, June 15, 1988. He was 65. Born Aug.

17, 1922, in Chester-town, he was the son of the late Mary Elizabeth and James Earl Lomax Sr. Educated in the Kent County public schools, he was an Army veteran of World War II. A former employee of the Vita Food Co. in Chestertown, he was a member of Union Local 199 Wilmington, Del. Mr.

Lomax is survived by his wife, Bernice Smith Lomax; a daughter, Vanessa Lomax of Worton; a granddaughter, Markessa Garner of Worton; three stepsons, Alonza Smith of Worton, William (Pete) Smith of Chestertown and Charles Smith of Harrisburg, four stepdaughters, Shirley Warren of Chestertown, Louise Shorter, Catherine Murray and Hannah Henry, all of Worton; 20 stepgrandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Arthur Lomax and i auBiiu uvuia( vvtu a Chestertown, and John Lomax of New York: and two sisters. West WILMINGTON, Del. -Franklin Monroe West of Wilmington died Wednesday, June 15, 1988 at Christiana Hospital in Wilmington. He was 81. He is survived by his wife, Birdie West of Wilimington; two sons, the Rev. Franklin West of Cambridge and Robert West of Charlotte, N.C.; six daughters, Marie Powell and Reba Jackson of Chester, Lorraine Jar-man of Newcastle, Ardella Hearne of Wilmington, Elsie Lucas of Easton and Edith Harris of Baltimore; two sisters, Concell Parker of Parsonburg and Pearl Stewart of Delmar; 34 46 great-grandchildren and three great-greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 19 at 8 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church in Wilmington, where friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday. A memorial service will be held Monday, June 20 at 11 a.m. at Union United Methodist Church In Delmar.
