of approximately 50 men have been constantly employed and over 150 workmen have been on the job at one time or another Another feature deserving of com ment is the fact that the operation from start to finish has used local labor and local materials as far as it has been possible to secure the latter in resort markets One of the largest sub contracts placed on the operation was that for lumber and mill work which was supplied by the Somers Lumber company a pioneer institution of the resort John Moore and Son held sub contract for the plumbing stallation and alterations to heating plant which also included the new ventilating system The interior decorations were the work of Gibilli and company who also did this work on the Warner theatre and the new Embassy David Park company handled
