1999 at his resi dence He was 73 Mr Kerin graduated Villanova University with a BS in Economics and New York Law School with a JD degree Mr Kerin served in the US Navy from 1943 to 1945 He was a self employed private security consultant He married the former Lois itzpatrick who predeceased him on November 26 1993 Mr Kerin was a member of the Society of ormer Special Agents of the BI the National Law Enforcement Assoc the American Society of Industrial Security the American Legion Post 52 and a life member of the Scarsdale Volunteer ire Dept Co 1 He was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scarsdale and a member of the Ushers Society He is survived by four sons: Michael Kerin of Washington DC Joseph Kerin of Woodcliff Lake NJ James Kerin of Deerfield Beach and Roy Kerin Yonkers General Hospital for over 25 years retiring in January of 1 998 On ebruary 15 1958 she married Richard Laino in St Church he survives living in Yonkers Mrs Laino was a parishioner of St Church a volunteer at the Jewish Home for the Blind and enjoyed exercise shopping and especially being a grandma Besides her husband she is survived by her two sons Richard of the Bronx and David of Yonkers and her daughter Mrs Anthony (Linda) iorilli of Mohegan Lake her two daughters in law Alaina and Lisa her five grandchildren Victoria Olivia Vincent Michelle and Gia She is also survived by her Mahood of Palm Harbor and Paul Mahood of Saint Charles IL one brother Theodore Mahood of Bayside Queens twelve grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren He was prede ceased by his wife Anne Mahood and Germany the daughter of the late rederick and Magdelena (Moheringer) Bauereis Her formal education was in Germany and she came to the United States in the late 1 920 and made her home in Manhatten and the Bronx On August 24 193 1 she mar ried August Straub in New York City NY They had lived in the Bronx and Hillside Lake NY before moving to Whiting NJ where they lived for 26 years Mr Straub died in 1974 In 1997 Mrs Straub moved to the Town and Country Home in Mount Kisco Mrs Straub was a former member of the ordham Lutheran Church in the Bronx the Reformed Church of Whiting and presently a mem ber of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brewster In addition to her son Walter she is survived by her daughter in law Carol Straub and 3 grandchildren Walter Straub Jr Dorothy Straub and Joanne Straub all Homer in New Rochelle NY Previously he had been a Vice President at Johnson and Higgins for 35 years As an insurance broker Mr Timberlake specialized in animal insurance including coverage for breeding live stock laboratory animals zoo specimens and thoroughbred racehorses His two favorite clients were the racehorses Secretariat and Riva Ridge Mr Timberlake was bom on July 3 1 1 9 1 9 in New York City to the late Shelby Timberlake and Muriel Bliss Timberlake and raised in Rye NY He graduated from Philips Exeter Academy in 1938 and from Williams College in 1942 He was a veteran of the Marine Corps during World War II serving as a Captain in the South Pacific Mr Timberlake was a former chairperson of the Pelham Manor Planning Board as well as a trustee of the village of Pelham Manor He was past president of the Williams College Alumni Association the Williams Club in New York City the John Street Club in New York City the Animal Air Transportation Association the Pelham Manor Association and the Shenorock Shore Club in Rye NY He was also a board member of the Thoroughbred Retirement oundation President of the International Embryo Transfer Society and committee chair person of the United States Animal Health Association He was a member of the Huguenot Memorial Church and served as a ruling elder and trustee of the church He married Mary Boyd Carreau of Pelham Manor NY on May 29 1944 He is sur vived by three daughters Lauren Brady of Rye NY Pamela Steudler of almouth MA and Elizabeth Timberlake of Harrison NY Three grand children Kirstin Tim and Tommy also survive him
