Generals Meet Vols Tonight Maroons Continue Northern Invasion RICHMOND, Dec. 3 (AP)Washington and Lee's Generals, giving early indication of an intention to stage a comeback In basketball after several lean years, make their second start tomorrow night against Tennessee at Knoxville Coach Billy McCann's quintet, loaded with promising sophomores, ran up a 119-70 score on Bridgewater's helpless Eagles in its first outing on Wednesday night. Six Generals scored in double figures in that game, including three of the sophs in whom McCann puts so much faith -Lee Marshall collecting 18 points, Milt Winawer netting 14 and Barry Storick 12. TENNESSEE SHOULD give the young Generals a stern test at this early stage of the season. Lena Feller, mother of Bob Feller, Cleveland Indians pitcher, died at her home here today on her 61st birthday. She had been ill for several years. Feller and his sister, Mrs. Robert Goodson, of Redfield, Iowa, were at her bedside when the end came. The pitcher's father died in 1943.

Mrs. Feller was an enthusiastic baseball fan and followed the ca-? reer of her famous son closely. But she was unable to attend the World Series between Cleveland and the New York Giants in October. At that time she was in a hospital in Des Moines. Greenbrier Opens Cage Season Dec.
