Opera House Condemned The fac tory Inspector has condemned Danville Opera House on account of there not being a sufficient number of exits. The difficulty, it is said, can not be remedied, and now the residents of' that place are mourning because they will witness no theatrical attractions this season.

At the Grand Dan Sherman, one of the best known vaudeville performers on the stage to-day. Is among tne vaudeville appearing at the Grand this week. Mr. Sherman has many friends in this city and valley, due to his frequent appearances here in the past fifteen years. He was the originator of the tunny burlesque trapeze acts that have amused the people fpr a number of years.

Floated Down River Three large rafts came down the river yesterday from Mehoopany and safely anchored at Forty Fort. There are, about 25.000 feet of logs in the lot and the whol batch wa purchased by Irwin Cool-baugh of Forty Fort, who will cut them Into lumber at his saw mill. The log were purchased from Oscar Stull At M-ehoopsny. The crews who manned the rafts returned to their homes last evening. SHOCKED BY ELECTRICITY.
