PATROLMAN COLEMAN HOME FROM HOSPITAL Patrolman Paul Coleman, 34, one of two Jeffersonville policemen brutally atacked May 1 by two unidentified thugs, today was recuperating at his home, 216 East Market Street, Jeffersonville. from a head operation submitted to at Norton Infirmary. The operation was for the purpose of inserting small plates in the head. It was necessary at the time of the attack to remove two portions of Coleman's skull about the size of an egg to relieve brain pressure from the blows. Since then, he has been subject to severe headaches.

and Mrs. Wm. Smith of Louisville were in New Washington one day this week. Miss Mary McCarty called on Mrs. Mona Higbie Friday.

Mr. Sam Giltner made several trips to Hibcrnia to see his brother, Jim, who was very ill last week. Ms. Mildred Hoback and children of New Albany and Mr. and Mrs.

Clyde Fisher and son spent Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. Albert Donahue. Mr. Arthur Willey of Indianapolis spent Thanksgiving with his family.

Mr. Abram Giltner spent Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Giltner and daughter at Charlestown. Mr.

and Mrs. Ira Dean entertained Thanksgiving Day with a turkey dinner. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dean and children, Mr.

Maxwell Plaskett. The little son of Mr. and Mrs. Junior Hooker of Charlestown has been very ill with pneumonia and is in Clark Hospital. He is reported better.

Mr. and Mrs. Emory Hostettler and son recently spent the day in Indianapolis visiting Mrs. N. W.

York and family. Mrs. W. T. Strieker shopped in Louisville Tuesday.
