The exhibit has been assembled by Carleton Smith, Bement native, and director of. the National Arts Foundation.

The exhibit is divided into four groups sculpture, paintings, etchings and drawings and musical manuscripts. Such wcrld-renowned creators as Rembrandt Goya, Tintoretto, Burer, Matisse, Rouault, Diego Rivera and Tamayo will be represented in original paintings, etchings and drawings. "Salvation Army" by Marilyn Whipple of Gales Ferry, will be on display. 'This is the first prize winner of the 1955 General Federation of Women's Clubs student contest. Sculpture from early Greeks through Carl Milles, Sir Jacob Epstein and Henry Moore will be shown and autographed copies of the manuscripts of Mozart, Beethoven, Berlioz, Richard Strauss, Sibelius, Puccini, Vaughan Williams, Eugene O'Neill and Robinson Jeffers can be viewed.

George Rouault has loaned a recent canvas, "The Holy Face," which will be seen in the United States only in Bement.
