Earl Aman, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Aman, had his foot badly sprained Sunday about noon while riding a horse at the home of his uncle, Jay Stevens, near Burt. The horse wheeled and the ground being wet'from the recent rain slipped and fell, catching Earl's foot and leg underneath. Earl has been staying with his uncle all summer.

His parents were called and he was taken to Algona. His foot and leg were put in splints and then In steel braces. It will be six weeks before he will be able to walk. their aunt, Mrs. Andrew Bockelman, southwest of town; Rev.
