The Vppet i April 6,1982 Sunday evening The last of a series of Sunday even- Ing informals which have been held at the Congregational church during gje winter was held Sunday evening. The program included a trio, "In the Time of-Rosss" by Retehardt, sung by Mrs. T. T. Herbst, Mrs.

Fred J. Clark and Miss Leoia Zeigler. The trio was followed toy ft duet, "Lovely Night" from The Tales of Hoffman by often bach, sung by Mrs. Hetbst and Mrs Clark. Mrs.

Sylvia Gunn accompaniec berth numbers. The main feature the program was a revue of the play "Green Pastures" by Rev. Fred Clark, who saw the play in Des Moines latt week. The wives of the trustee and tieocons, and deaeonnesses were Hostesses and served tea which was followed by an informal social evening. There was a good atendance.

Surprise Party- Mr, and Mrs. Andrew Oodfredson were pleasantly surprised Monday evening when a group of friends dropped in to help them celebrate their flrst wedding anniversary. Wilson entertained ten tables of bridge last Wednesday at a one o'clock luncheon at the home of Mrs. DeZellar. Mrs, Oscar Ertckson won the high prize, Mrs. Anna March, second, and Mrs. Frank seeley, the average prize.

The Baptist Ladles' Aid meets on Thursday afternoon at two-thirty with tos. L. A. Miner on East State street. The assisting Hostesses will be Mesdames George Williams, Wayne Keith, W.

H. Horan and Will Bowman. All adies are urged to be present for the election of officers. Mrs. Ben Knox entertained her bridge club on Tuesday afternoon.

A benefit bridge party was given by the Legion bbys at the hall Friday evening. There were twelve tables and everyone reports a fine time.
