This popular young fellow is on the set of "Louisa" at Universal-International, which will also star Ronald Reagan, Ruth Hussey, Charles Goburn, Edmund Gwenn, Spring Byington and the new U-I discovery, Piper Laurie. PrtylHfMae Bell Is Bride, April 19, At Whittemore a very attractive wedding in St. Paul's Lutheran church last Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock, Phyllis Mae Bell, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Elmer Bell, and Harold Kunze, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kunze, of Ute, Iowa, were united in marriage. The Rev.

Paul G. Weinhold performed the double ring ceremony in St. Paul's Lutheran church in Whittemore. The bride was beautiful in a white satin gown with lace insets, falling from her waist to a hem-encircling train and long sleeves. Her fingertip veil was caught in a lace-trimmed cap, trimmed in orange blossoms.

She carried a bouquet of white car-t nations, with centers of yellow" sweetheart roses. Her jewelry consisted of a white pearl necklace with matching earrings, a gift of the groom. Ruth Bell, sister of the bride, attended her sister. Her gown was of lime green marquisette, with matching mitts. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses with tuffs of white satin ribbons.

The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Henry Kunze, of Ute. JoAnn Balgeman of Algona, a friend of the bride, sang Per- fcct Love" and the "Lord's Prayer." Her gown was of yellow dotted Swiss, and her corsage was of carnations. She was accompanied by Prof. W. G.

Erase at the organ. Ushers were Wayne Bell, brother of the bride, and Richard Harms, a friend of the groom. The mothers of the couple wore dark dresses with yellow rose corsages. Mrs. Bertha Carrel, grandmother of the bride, wore a navy blue dress and wore a white gardenia shoulder corsage.

Mrs. Rosena Mahler, grandmother of the groom, was unable to attend the wedding because of illness. A reception was held following the ceremony in the auditorium of the Lutheran school, to relatives and friends of the couple. The tables were decorated with flowers, candles, and wedding cake, and color decorations yellow and light green. Table waitresses were Jeanette Vaudt, Dorothy Quinn, Lucille Lauck, Betty Anderson, and Mrs.

Harold Wickman. All wore black skirts and white blouses, with white organdy aprons, made by the bride mother. Donna Jean Balgeman was in charge of the guest book and gifts. The bride attended the Lutheran Parochial school and graduated from Whittemore High school. Upon her graduation a beauty school in Des Moines and has been employed 'in the State Beauty Shoppe in Algona.

The groom is a graduate of the Ute High school and served in the Marine Corps for years. After his discharge from the Marines, he was employed with the Ute State bank In Ute, until coming to Algona where is now district manager of the Crowe Seed Co. BETTER REST BETTER SLEEP May 5-6 Dates Sel For Jaycee Minstrel Show A minstrel show, sponsored by the Junior Chamber of Commerce, will play nights, May 5 and 6. in the Algona high school gymnasium. Announcement of the aates was made today by Producers Wm. Steele and Dr. C.

C. Shterk. John Ferguson will be the interlocutor and only "white man" ih the show. Darky endmen will be Ted Chrischilles, Wm. Sharp, Bob LaBarre, Leon Martin, Tony Quzowski, Neil Monaco, Frank Knutzen, and Don Hutchins.

Stage routines will directed by Cecily Sherk, dramatic instructor at the high school, and Harold Weber, music instructor, Will direct the chorus. A chorus line of high girls will be one of the side acts. Nancy McGaw, physical education instructor, will have charge of the act. Two bands will accompany the chorus. Russell Ouster will direct the high school orchestra, in the pit, while Ray Cook's old band will knock out jazz tunes on the stage.

The last Minstrel Show in Algona was held in 1948. That year they played to a house both nights, and all indications point to a repeat of that show's success. When a star precedes the number on some U. S. currency, it indicates that the bill is a substitute, issued to replace one that was worn or defective.
