Miss Ekedahl, Mr. Seigfreid Plan May Wedding Mrs. Parkinson, Mr. Deichman Wed On Sunday Mr. and Mrs.

J. Charles Ekedahl of 1617 Meadow Lane announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Miss Suzanne Patricia Ekedahl, to Jerome W. Seigfreid son of and Mrs. Jerome W. Seigfreid ef 1015 S.

Western. Ekedahl is a 1972 graduate of Mexico High School and is a prospective 1976 May graduate of the University of Missouri in Columbia where she will receive a bachelor of arts degree in speech, radio, and television. She is a member of Alpha Chi Omega social sorority. The prospective groom is a 1971 graduate of Mexico High School and received his bachelor of science degree in agriculture, food service and logging management, from the University of Missouri in 1975. The couple is planning a May 28 wedding at the First Presbyterian Church.

A candlelight ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. WELLSVILLE-Mrs. Frances Perkinson became the bride of Alvin Deichman Sunday at 2 p.m. at the home of the bride in Wellsville. The single ring ceremony was performed by Don Wortman of Mexico.

The bride chose her daughter, Mrs. David L. Mitchell of Harrisburg, as matron of honor. David Coil, son-in-law of Mr. Deichman was best man.

Following the ceremony a reception was held with brothers and sisters of the bride and groom attending. Mrs. David Coil, daughter of the groom, poured punch; Mrs. David Mitchell served the cake. The table was decorated with white mums, yellow daisy centerpiece, yellow candles and a two-tiered cake with yellow roses.

After a trip through the south the couple will live at 313 E. Water Street, Wellsville. Mr. And Mrs. Duffen Celebrated 35th Anniversary City Donates To Heart Fund donation to the Heart Fund was made at the Benton City Busy Bees meeting on Wednesday at the home of Mrs.

Herbert Schutte, and Mrs. Engemann. Others present were Mrs. Floyd Rockwell, Mrs. Audrey Smith, Mrs.

Eugene Clark, Mrs. Nellie Cox, Mrs. Horace Gregory, and Mrs. Edwin Delamatre, and Miss Van Leer. The meeting in March will be at the home of Mrs.

McCown with Mrs. Hinton as leader. Laf-A-Lot Club Donates To CP School Larry Fecht presented a program "Short Cuts in Sewing" to the Extension Club February meeting held at the home of Mrs. Claude Peck. Mrs.

Peck opened the meeting with a devotional reading and Mrs. Joe Johnson presided over the business meeting. As a service project the members brought records to be donated to the children at the Cerebral Palsy School and plans were made for the upcoming Craft Day in April. The consumer report was given by Mrs. Billy Heckman and Mrs.

Glenn Phillips gave a short demonstration on "Bicentennial Rug Making." Mrs. Phillips received a isecret pal gift and it was planned to have the next, meeting in March at the home of Mrs. Fecht. Mr. and Mrs.

Floyd Duffen, 9 Ozark Place, celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on Feb. 22 from 2-4 p.m. at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Walt Duffen, 926 N.

Jefferson. The reception table was decorated with a beige tablecloth trimmed in lace with an Early American punch bowl. Jade candles with coral flower candle rings centered the table as an arrangement. The scalloped layer cake was iced in white with green color trimming, baked by, Mrs. Bill Nichols.

The punch bowl had an ice ring encircled with green and white flowers. Servers were Mrs. Walt Duffen, and Mrs. Tom Lampe of Lees Summit. Miss Mable Ruth Moore and Floyd Duffen were married on Feb.

Eugene Field PTA To Meet Eugene Field School March PTA meeting will be held on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the school after a brief business meeting of the executive meeting at 7 p.m. in the library. and Mrs. Ralph Johnson, Routed, attended the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority initiation dinner at the University of Missouri in Columbia with their daughter, Miss Robin Johnson, who was initiated as an active member. She is a freshman majoring in accounting. Mr. and Mrs.

He was a member of Chi Epsilon, engineering fraternity, and Phi Delta Theta social fraternity. Presently he is employed by Winn-Senter Construction in Kansas City. A July 17 wedding is being planned at the Mexico United Methodist Church.
