Because of financial deficit, the city's plan for moving the zoo is in danger of dying. The Board of Park Directors will meet tonight to see what to do about it.

A memorandum to the city council, asking' some action toward' furnishing the promised 20,000, is proposed by the park department. According to park officials the department is $25,000 short on its maintenance fund, owing to the number of parks and parklets which had to be attended this year, despite a curtailed appropriation from the city council.
