If the vote is taken, it is virtually certain to favor contempt action.

Subcommittee Chairman 0 Harris (D-Ark.) called a closed subcommittee meeting this afternoon to discuss a "code of ethics" bill aimed at halting alleged abuses uncovered in investigating the Federal Communications Commission. The meeting was the first since the subcommittee halted its hearings into charges that Presidential Assistant Sherman Adams influenced the Federal Trade Commission and Securities Exchange Commission on Goldfine's behalf while receiving plush gifts from the textile manufacturer. The rear of the house was badly damaged. Browmvood firemen pointed out that there is a city ordinance which prohibits the burning of trash in Browmvood. But a cloudburst Thursday brought water surging over the bank to a height of seven "CLASSIFIED DISPLAY feet.
