BILL BENDIX loads ol NEW SHOWS ADD SPARKLE. By MARCELLA SLAJCHERT After a summer of busy negotiating, the nation's radio networks are now ready, it appears, to serve the listening public the first slice of the pie they have baked.

Advance program notices indicate the several neto shows including those of Mel Blanc, Dennis Day, Victor Borge, Ray Rogers, the Phil Harris-Alice Faye show, and Don NBC number, will add excitement to the Hooper race and sparkle to what might otherwise turn out to be a monotonous routine of last shows with last voices. Most of the regulars such as Frank Sinatra, Dinah Shore, Joan Davis, Jack Carson, Rate Smith and hosts of others will be back before mid-October. Among the most missed this fall will be Danny Kaye, who gave up his radio show for Broadway this season. Nelson Eddy has not yet been signed and talk of Hay hour cut in half is still circulating along Radio Row. Ample football coverage is assured with KF AB and WOW covering Nebraska games.

Networks are lining up countrywide covertige, ABC confining itself to Army games. Bill Stern will be on hand for NBC, Harry Wlsmer for ABC, Tom Slater for MBS.
