Louis of Athens, became the bride of John Joseph Bowman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bowman of Accord. Sunday, May 6. at 2 p.

rn. at St. Church in Athens. For the occasion the church was decorated with white snapdragons and the pews were marked with ribbon. The bride was given in marriage by her father.

She wore a white pure silk sheath Chinese styled gown with slits ort each side edged with lace and iridescent beads. Her long train was detachable at the shoulders and an iridescent crown held a three tier veil. The gown was designed and made for her by her uncle.
