Church School. p. m. IvtrUng Fraysr and Sermon. TO BE PRIZED No gift is more appropriate for boy or firl, on birthdays or any other time, than i copy of the Holy Scriptures.

There is something about the possession of a Bible that lives a young person new sense of moral and spiritual responsibility. It invtits the great characters of the Book with a warmth and nearness that ia conducive to spiritual growth. There has been no time in human history when young people needed the instruction and inipiration of the Scriptures more than they need them today, when strange voices are calling' and strange hands beckoning into dangerous paths. Much of the literature and drama of our time is cynical, materialistic and sensual. Only the Bible can tie our young people to the faith and solid virtues that make life strong and safe.

The Bible has meant more to the world and humanity than all other books combined. The youth of today should cherish it as a pricelesi heritage. THE CHURCH FOR ALL 4 ALL FOR THE CHURCH The Church is greatest factor, on fof the building oi character and good citiztnship II is a storehouse of spiritual vqluts Wilhoul a strong Church, democracy nor civilization can survive Thers lour sound reasons why every person should attend services regularly and support the Church They are (1) For his own sake (2) For his children's sake (3) For Ihe sake ol his community and nation (4) For the salte ol the Church itseli, which needs his moral and material support Plan to ao lo church regularly and read your Bible daily, Book Monday TucBday lITi II Ti Thursday II Pe. 20-40 14-26 rcr FIRST CHRISTIAN O.
