MARTINEZ, April 4. After forcing her, with. a revolver, to submit to letting him cut all her hair off. Earl G. Howard, of Richmond, is alleged to have threatened his wife.

Lulu, with death if she left the house, according to a divorce complaint which she filed here today. Mrs. Howard says the hair-cutting incident occurred in January. She had left home, she says, but her husband pursued her in his automobile, and, menacing her with a revolver, forced her to enter the car and ride home with him. He then bound her in a chair and cut her hair off close to her head, she declares.

He then told her. she says, death would-be the penalty if she went outside the house. Howard threatened her life on several other occasions, Howard asserts, and told their four children, he was going to kill her. Mrs. Howard asks custody of the four children, and $75 a month alimony.
