Zot-tola ruled that whether Benjamin Johnson had a legitimate beef with Clairton police, or he has emotional problems that contributed to his behavior, "he still is a danger to the public." Johnson, 38, was returned to the Allegheny County Jail, where he is being held on $100,000 bond. He is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault on a police officer, reckless endangerment and carrying a firearm without a license. Eyewitnesses said Johnson had been riding his bicycle Oct.

RADER JEFFREY W. On Sunday, October 28, 2000, Jeffrey W. Rader of Sewickley, PA; husband of Lvnne McNamara Rader; father of Kurt M. Rader, at home; son of William M. Rader and the late Alberta J.

Runk of CA; also survived by several nieces and nephews and his step-mother, Helen Rader; Mr. Rader is also survived by his devoted pet Airedale, Mr. Rader formerly resided in Marietta, OH and was Vice President and General Manager of Hanel storage systems of Pittsburgh, PA. He did attend Virginia Military Institute and was a graduate of Marietta College.

He was one of the first founding board members of the Quaker Valley Hockey teams and the main supporting parent. He was a recipient of the Melodie Augustine Courage and Spirit Award. He was the soul of the entire organization at its inception and he designed the logo for the Quaker Valley hockey team uniform. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 P.M. and again from 7-9 P.M.

412-381-3345. SIMPSON WILLIS GRAHAM Willis Graham Simpson, 90, died Saturday evening, October 28, 2000 at the Forbes Hospice. He was born March 30, 1910 in Pittsburgh, the son of Clifford Emerson and Lillian Beck Simpson. Mr. Simpson was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Ruth Keally, on February 20, 1975 and his daughter, Barbara Treadway, on July 1, 1999.

Mr. Simpson was a proud member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity at Pennsylvania State University where he graduated in June 1932. He was a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy during World War II and retired from service on March 9, 1946. He was a long time member of both Longue Vue Country Club and the Pittsburgh Athletic Association.

He was also a member of Shadyside Presbyterian Church, Pittsburgh and Valley Presbyterian Church in Scottsdale, Arizona. He married Mary Ruth Keally on February 9, 1942 at the Church of the Ascension. Mr. Simpson is survived by his son, William Howard Simpson, of Fox Chapel and his daughter, Jane S. Mahneke, of Santa Barbara, CA.

He has four beloved grandchildren, William Howard Simpson, Sara Keally Simpson, Robert Kent McAfee and Wendy Anne Wray, and one great-granddaughter, Shelby Anne Wray. Mr. Simpson founded the Simpson Insurance Agency in 1941 and spent his entire career in the insurance industry. He was fortunate to have a life of excellent health which enabled him to travel extensively including more than three trips around the world.
