The Trooping of the Colors by the Pennsylvania Air National Guard was followed by an exquisite six -course dinner cream of artichoke soup, duck cannelloni, lime sorbet, filet mignon with port wine sauce and Lupe de Mer, a salad of mesclun topped with brie and pear and a deep dish apple pie. The glamour and intimacy of the evening made guests feel like they were in an elegant nightclub with friends, united for a cause that has become increasingly essential.

The Red Cross mission, led by volunteers, is to provide relief to victims of disaster and emergencies. They're there when we need them, but let's hope we don't. at their annual Omega Mardi Gras and Quesino. Benefiting the social action activities of the fraternity, the Quesino offered blackjack, roulette and a silent auction featuring African art. WTAE-TV's Sheldon Ingram emceed the party chaired by Sheila Washington and Shannon George (with Chris) and honorary chairs Aaron and Gloria Walton. Owner of Nemacolin Woodlands and 84 Lumber Joe Hardv, who could not attend, was honored with the Lee and Larry Davis Recognition Award for his continued sponsorship.
