The court at Carlisle, on Monday took up the consideration of applications for license. Every application from Carlisle was subject of remonstrance, and in nearly every case supplementary petitions were presented. The remonstrances agcinst many of the hotels and saloons are five to six feet in length and have as singers the best people of the town and county. The liquor men are very apprehensive, as many of their applications have been held over, which is equivalent almost to a refusal. Against the following applications there were no remonstrances no.
