Mr. Nee was a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School and Duquesne University. He was a former Football Coach at St. Bernard Grade School and was a member of the Eastern Intercollegiate Football Officials Association.

He was also a WPIAL Football and Baseball Official. Mr. Nee was a former Purchasing Director for Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh and a former Vice President in Administration at St. Joseph Hospital in Pgh. He retired from the Norfolk General Hospital in 1995.

STROYD ANNE CLAUDIA Daughter of the late James and Laura Griffiths, died on January 20, 2001. a long-time resident of Mt. Lebanon. Mrs. Stroyd was a graduate of Parnassus High School and the University of Pittsburgh, where she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.

Throughout her life, Mrs. Stroyd was active in many charitable, civic, and cultural organizations, including the American Red Cross, the St. Clair Hospital Auxiliary, St. Paul's Episcopal Church, the League of Women Voters, the Pittsburgh Symphony Society, and the Mt. Lebanon Lecture Society.

A loyal Republican, Mrs. Stroyd served during the 50's, 60's and 70's as Vice-Chair of the Mt. Lebanon Republican Party and was a member of the "Nob Hill Gang" promoting the presidential nomination of then-Governor Bill Scranton at the San Francisco Republican Convention. She later worked on the staffs of Governor Ray Schaeffer and U.S. Senator Richard Schweik-er.

She had been a member of the University Club, the St. Clair Country club, the Twentieth Century Club, and the south Hills College Club. Mrs. Stroyd is survived by her three children, Claudia Ann Kapet-an of Naples, FL and Edwards, CO, Cynthia Jean Leslie of La Jolla, CA, and Arthur Heister Stroyd, Jr. of Pittsburgh, as well as six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 27, 2001, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon.
