In 1 983 she and her ami ly moved from Bethel Park to Houston, TX and then to the San Francisco Bay area, where they have lived since 1986. Daughter of Mary Cafaro Petraglia and the late Frank Petraglia. She is also survived by her dearest sister Mary Grace Lynch, brother Phillip Petraglia and sister Frances Randolph. Bette enioyed her career in industrial sales and was proud of her achievements. She loved to entertain, always welcoming many get-togethers with family and friends at home to share in food and laughter.

Retired) On Sunday, May 9, 2004, John went to his eternal rest. He was the son of the late Mary A. and William L. Robinson. Preceded in death by his first wife Mary Sullivan and brother Col.

Michael F. Robinson. Survived by his wife, Fran, brothers James A. (Jean), William B. (Betty Lee) and sister Mae R.

Con-ley (late James John was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and West Point Class of 1941. He served in the European Theatre throughout the Second World War and survived the Battle of the Bulge. John was a vital part of the Liberation of Paris. There is a plaque in the government square at Charenton La Pointe a suburb of Paris) thanking Maior Robinson for helping in their liberation. John served the occupation of Germany with the title "Mayor of He returned to the U.S.

in 1947. He served in various Army bases until his retirement in 1 952. After his retirement he went to work for the Allegheny County Health Department, retiring from there in 1980. John was active in the West Point Alumni Association, Knights of Columbus, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He also was a volunteer at the Oakland VA Hospital for many years.

Mrs. Vella was a retired teacher of the California Area School District and had also worked for the federal government in New Jersey. She was a graduate of California University of PA and the University of Pittsburgh. She was a member of several education associations. Lena was a life long member of St.

Thomas Aquinas Church in California, PA. Left to cherish her memory are two sisters; Amelia Filoni of California, PA and Rose Lofstead of Uniontown, PA; nephew Albert Filoni and wife, Patricia, of Mt. Lebanon, PA; great nephews, Michael Filoni and finan-cee Kate Williams of Mt. Lebanon, PA and David Filoni and wife, Anne, of Burbank, CA; also surviving are a brother-in-law, Vincent Vella and four sister-in-law, Sara Yeri, Mary Debsky, Josephine Hall and Jean Vella; and several nieces and nephews of the Vella Family. Former Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary of PNC Corporation, died of natural causes on May 11, 2004 in Mt. Lebanon, PA. He was 91. Mr. Winters of Asbury Villas, who was one of the principal authors of Chapter 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, was born in Pittsburgh in 1912 and grew up in Duquesne Heights.

After graduating from South Hills High School, he received his baccalaureate degree from New York University of Pittsburgh. At N.Y.U. he was a member of Psi Upsilon fraternity. Mr. Winters joined a predecessor of PNC Bank in 1940 and remained with the bank until his retirement in 1978.

He was a member of the American Law Institute, the Society of Corporate Secretaries, the Duquesne Club, and the Junta. He was recognized as a fifty year member of the Allegheny County Bar Association. He was active in many aspects of the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Winters served for many years as Scoutmaster of Troop 193, sponsored by the Mt.

Lebanon United Presbyterian Church, where he became a member in 1945. He also served as a member of the Executive Board of the then Allegheny Council of the Boy Scouts of America, who awarded him the Silver Beaver. At the National Council level of the Boy Scouts of America, he was designated a Wood Badge Deputy Camp Chief. He also served as the Assistant Scoutmaster to "Green Bar William Hillcourt, when Brown Sea Island 2-2 was presented in the tri-state area. Mr.

Winters was a member of Lodge 45 of the Free and Accepted Masons as well as the Gorgas Lodge of Perfection. Mr. Winters was preceded in death by his parents Dr. George R. Winters and Harriet Harvey Winters and his brother Dr.
