Clair formerly of Elizabeth PA after a brave battle with cancer, died on Monday, May 31, 2004 at UMPC Shadyside Hospital. Born April 10, 1926 in East Liverpool, a daughter of the late George and Margaret Shumaker, and wife of the late John R. Shinavski. A former Payroll Administrator for Westinghouse of East Pittsburgh, she also worked as an Editor for Carlene Market Research Company. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 7 siblings.

Surviving are a daughter: Joan Shinavski, J.D. of Upper St. Clair with whom she resided and a son Robert J. Shinavski, of Mission Vieio, CA; a brother: Donald Shumaker of Somerset, PA; a sister: Rita Miller of Mesa, AZ; numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Also Stacey Kosakowski of Allison Park, who was like a daughter; and her beloved companion: Travis.

Frank strongly believed, and he taught his children, and all those around him to love God, family, and our country. He taught others by the way he lived, the value of integrity, truthfulness, hard work, love, and to always help those in need. Frank is survived by his wife, Gerry (nee Price), whom he married 53 years ago, his son Steve (Terri) Titus of St. Charles, daughters Susan (Brian) Cook of St. Charles, Sara (Tony) Caggiano of Orlando, FL, his grandchildren, Matt (Sara) Titus, Melissa Titus, Grant Cook, Brandon Cook, Anna Cook, Garrett Caggiano, Cait-lin Caggiano, Courtney Caggiano, and Jackson Caggiano, two brothers, Ed (Verna) Titus of Greenup, IL Bud Titus of Rio Verde, AZ, and many nieces and nephews.

From 1969 to 1986 Sister served as CCD Coordinator and a Religiogs Education Coordinator in parishes in Pennsylvania St. Joan of Arc, Library; Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, Meadowlands; and Holy Spirit, West Mifflin. In the 70's, Sister Patricia served as President of the Sister's Council of the Diocese of Pgh.

In 1981 she ministered in Public Relations at Holy Family Institute, Pgh. In 1986 she was named the Director of the Physical Facilities of the Provincialate in Ross Twp. At this time she was the Superior of the Provincialate Convent for nine years and Assistant Superior from 1999 to 2002. In Sept. of 2002 Sister Patricia Ruth retired to Holy Family Manor.

Jack O'Malley, Margaret O'Malley, Thomas O'Malley (Angela), of Cypress, CA, and Mark O'Malley; also survived by 13 grandchildren; 29 greatgrandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; also survived by her sister Rita Henry and brother Paul Henry; sister of the late John Henry, Margaret Mall, James, Regis, Joseph and Francis Henry, Cecilia Powell and Mary Rose Ma-honey. Frank served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was stationed at Ft. Sill, OK. When his unit was called up to go to Korea, his superiors ordered him to stay in the position he held at the Fort, saying they could not replace him.

Frank was a graduate of Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL, and received his masters in Business Administration from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN. Frank also completed work toward his doctorate at Indiana. He had been employed by Sears for over 35 years. Throughout his career he worked himself up from a stock boy, to a regional manager position. Over the 35 year period he and his wife Gerry moved 13 times, keeping up with his promotions.

At the time of his retirement from the company he was one of the top executives in the rganization. Over the years, and various places he lived, he served as Chambers of Commerce Presidents, United Way Chairman, and Honorary Chairman for the Salvation Army. He was recognized by Governor Jay Rockefeller for his humanitarian efforts in Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, and the Governor of Kentucky ac- I- SPATAFORE CHARLES JR.
