Bud, the drummer and featured vocalist, is office manager for the South Hills Homes Company; Eddie, the trumpet player, is a partner in Sunnyside Cleaners in Carnegie, and Al, the pianist, works at Gimbels, where he tunes, repairs, rebuilds and sells pianos.

On May 1, workmen begin the job of converting the property into a storeroom Joe Weisberg and his recent bride, pretty Margie Foley, have taken over the camera concession at the Copa. Joe's the son of Marty and Belle Weisberg, the Carousel lensnappers. Bandleader Tommy Carlyn rushed his mother to the Mercy Hospital.
