22. Special memorial services were held in the Maple Hill U. B. church for Private Clifford La-verne Kightlinger, who was killed Italy on October 7. 1943.

There was a large gathering of neighhors. relatives and friends, snd beautiful flowers were placed on and around the altar. The pastor. Reverend L. T.

Lincoln presided, and the Reverend M. M. Clark, of Townville, gave the memorial address. Private Kightlinger was a son of Mr. and Mrs.
