KOSSUTH COUNTY ADVANCE Dairy Fair Edition Edited to Help Celebrate the 76th Annual Koasuth Pair, and to Give Information to Fair Crowds. Distributed Free Each Day from the Kossuth County Advance Booth at the South Side of Floral Hall. LET'S CHANGE THE TUNE When you have a good chance take a look around the entire Kossuth county fairgrounds, and then ask yourself—"Where have I seen more exhibits, more concessions, better hippodrome acts, better horse races, better anything?" This year there Is only one answer, and that Is at a state fair. This year's Kossuth fair Is really a top notcher In every, respect and doesn't have to take a seat behind anyone. While we're at It we might as well call a spade a spade, and refer to the Clay county fair at Spencer, another excellent fair.' This means no disparagement of that institution.. But Clay county beats the Kossuth fair In one thing—noise, bally r hoo, and general advertising done by the residents of Clay county They talk up that fair. Here In Kossuth too many people have grown into the habit of talking down the fair. People who pay 50 cents to see a ball game will growl and groan at 40 cents for a fair gate or 25 cents for the grandstand, where they can see a ball game, free acts, horse racing and what-not. They'll crab everything in sight, and what Is worse they have a discouraging effect on everyone with whom they come in contact. How would these grumblers like to be secretary or president or gate keeper of a fair and have some grouch come up and tell how rotten he thought the fair was? These people who manage this fair haven't had enough sleep in the past week. They have spent day and night getting this fair ready. They know it ia good, Next time a grouch tells a tale of woe to you about this year's fair patiently call his attention to the fact that there are more exhibits than ever before, that attendance is higher than ever before, that there Is treble the number of concessions on the midway, and that you know it's a good fair. Tell him you liked the free actsj and that the ball game was good. Here in Kossuth we can put over a bigger fair than any county in the state. This is the largest county in the state—why not have the largest county fair? It's easy. Talk up the fair. Tell what you liked. Tell them you had »"•*'», t wo m ome in. ° nle 't*o, NORTHWEST - IOWA Call Theatrt Wedne8day.Thnrsday Sept. 6 and C COUwT^ LAST TIME TONIGHT . Matinee 11 o'clock and every two hours day and night,
