The Honourable Justices of the Court of Common Pleas, holden at Portland icithin and for the County of Cumberland, on the first Tuesday of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and JOSHUA RICHARDSON, of said land, Merchant, respectfully represents, that he seized as tenant in common, with other persons to your petiticner unknown, in certain tracts or parcels of real estate, situated in Westbrook, in said county, part of the real estate of which Benjamin Thonies, late of said Westbrook, seized and that part of the same which was assigned to his widow, Charity Thornes, now deceased, for her dower, together with one other piece as hereinafter described, which was set off to her in the division of the whole real estate of the said Benjamia Thornes, among his heirs, in the right of John1 Thornes, a son of said deceased, who died married and without issue reference being had to the Records of said dower and division, and the plans accompanying the same.

The first parcel containing ten acres, more or less, bounded as follows beginning at the south east corner of land belonging to the heirs of Benjamin Bailey, deceased, lying on the road leading from Portland to Stroudwater, from thence running north twenty two degrees east, adjoining the land owned by the said Bailey's heirs, one hundred and fifteen rods to a stake thence south fifty three degrees east, fourteen rods to a stake thence south twenty two degrees west, one hundred aud fifteeu rods to the road aforesaid; thence esterly by said road, fourteen the place of beginning together with the dwelling house and wood house thereon standing Your Petitioner share thereof lieing three sevenths.
