Troubadors from Trumbull Conn who will be festively dressed in colorful Mexican Charro outfits of black white and red Hailing from Coventry Conn the Nathan Hale Ancient ifes and Drums will be sounding the theme of the year 1776 Other drum and buglers will be the St Cadet Corps from the Bronx and the Lindenaires from Linden hurst NJ The grand finale of the parade will be Santa Claus riding a 36 foot float bedecked with child toys and miniature toy train carrying children around the center of the float helpers will Be dressed in red hooded capes trimmed with white fur and carrying white muffs Santa will sten down from his float to receive the key to the city from Mayor Richard Hendey at the end of the parade Sportscaster Joe Garagiola former major league catcher for the St Louis Cardinals
