Storm Victims Get Mobile Homes Soon WASHINGTON (UPI)Housing Secretary George Komney said Tuesday 350 Texas families left homeless by Hurricane Celia will be moved into mobile homes by Thursday. Romney also said the Department of Housing and Urban Development was trying to make arrangements with mobile home manufacturers to provide shelter for another 9,000 families in the seven county Texas area that suffered the heaviest hurricane damage. Romney pledged to make the full resources of this department available to these and said loans would be offered to repair 13,000 severely damaged homes in the disaster area.
