Sedate business men in offices, clerks in stores, teachers in the schools are as greatly enthused over the Impend ing event as are the children, them selves. This enthusiasm is entirely justified. Radiogram after radiogram has been received from Santa describing the thrilling features he will present in his gigantic parade spectacle to be presented in connec tion with his Algona visit. Reported in the Kossuth County Advance, these radiograms have related Santa's intention of bringing with him his team of eight Alaskan wolf hounds with their Eskimo driver, Miss Mary Christmas with 'her automobile and its load of toy nni- a very tall figure representing Undo Sam. Just preceding Uncle Sam in the parade will be a rega.l plush banner bearing tho inscription, "Loyalty to the U. S. A." Several other banners of a similar type with other appropriate inscriptions will be interspersed throughout the parade at fitting intervals. Soldiers in the parade Bearing out the patriotic theme to to a further degree, the Algona Legion and V. F. W. posts have offered to lend support to Santa's parade also by participating in it Seadlng the parade, the ex-service men very fittingly will beer the colors of the United States, the Stars and Stripes. Santa and every othei red-blooded American citizen, be lieves in patriotism and the heroism it inspires and inculcates.
