LOCAL NEJWS MAIL PLANE PAA GETS TO NOME THIS MORNING Pilot Jerry Jones of the Pacific Alaska Airways arrived Nome this morning and left again about noon, carrying mail both ways. He arriv ed from Fairbanks, after having stopped overnight at Koyuk, due tc adverse weather conditions and icing-up of the wings. He brought in about five or six hundred pounds John Treichler, Cashier at the Hammon Consolidated Gold Fields Nome office, was an outgoing passenger with Pilot Jones today. PILOT ROBBINS OF PAA IS DUE NOME THURS. Weather permitting Pilot Robbins of the PAA is due to take off from Fairbanks, Thursday morning for Nome with mail.

I Pilot Chester Brown of the North ern Air Transport took off today for Kotzebue and northern points in a company plane. A native prisoner in the federal jail here was a passenger to Kotzebue. MIROW TAKES OFF FOR CITY OF FAIRBANKS Pilot Mirow of the Mirow Air Ser vice took off this morning for Fairbanks with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ham mar and C.

E. Hallberg, as passengers, and a capacity load of express. Weather permitting he expects to fly back to Nome tomorrow. L. E.

KURTH IS BUILDING NEW TIN SHOP HERE Work on the new tin shop of L. E. Kurth started yesterday. The building is to be 24x26 feet, and will house the Nome Sheet Metal Works when completde. It is expected that the building will be completed in about two or 'three weeks.

It is being constructed on the site of the former building, destroyed in the fire, on Front street, next door to thp Mirow Air Service. HOUSE TOWED THRU CITY FOR RALPH BEAT The Nome Motor transfer department, today moved a two-story house from Third avenue East to the southwest corner of Second avenue West, for Ralph Reat. Tht building was placed on the cornel directly across the street from Federated church. With this work approved and construction in many cases still progressing, the Nome Committee of the Federal Emergency Relief Administration has greatly assisted in the rehabilitation of Nome.

Their work in this connection has been for the development of the city along lines of modern construction and cooperation. Outside of these projects the Nome Committee of the FERA will not have any additional work to perform. Other developments such as streets, sidewalks, permanent fire fighting systems, drainage and will be taken up in the application made to the Public Works Administration for a loan to accomplish these things. Such application, it is reported, will soon be forthcoming. The details of filling in that application require considerable work, but once the data and information are assem bled, it should progress rapidly and without hindrance.

Work is being carried on in preparation for the installating of a cement flooring on the East side of the building.

Chagnon, the Executor of the Estate of Charles Mason, Deceased, has rendered and presented for final settlement, and filed in the above court, his first and final report and petition for order of distribution, and that Monday, the 21st day of January, 1935, at 10 A. M. of said day, at the office and courtroom of the above court in Nome, Alaska, has been set as the time and place for the settlement of said report and for the hearing of objections thereto if any there be, and for a hearing on the petition for an order of final distribution, and all persons interested in said estate are notified then and there to appear and show cause, if any they have, why the said report and account should not be settled and allowed, and why distribution of said estate should not thereupon be immediately made to the persons entitled thereto'without further notice of proceedings. Reference is hereby made to the said report and petition for further particulars. Dated at Nome, Alaska, this 19th day of November, 1934.
