Southern Bail way company announ? ces that on November 27th it will be? gin running Its through passenger trains from the South to New York City into the magnificent new pas? senger station of the Pennsylvania Ballroad, located in the heart of the hotel and shopping district of the Metropolis. On the same date it will inaugurate a much faster and greatly improved passenger service from the Southeast, substituting a new train, to be known as the "Southern's South? eastern Limited" for the present New York and Florida Limited." The new train will be made up of the newest and best equipment and ill be electrically lighted tl rough out, handling Pullman sleeper be? tween Jacksonville and New York, and two. sleepers between Augusta and New York, one via Trenton and one via Blackville. It will run en tlrely independent of any other train, instead of being combined with the 'Birmingham Special" at Charlotte as the "New York Florida Limited" as at the present time.

KING-McELVEEN CASE DECIDED. i i Supreme Court Hands Down Decision Affirming Judgment of Lower Court. I I Columbia, Oct. supreme court yesterday affirmed the judg ment of the circuit court In a will case from Sumter county Involving over $6,000. The case was that of E.

McElveen as administrator of the estate of Eunice Olivia King, de- i ceased, against C. F. King. The opin- I ion is by Chief Justice Jones. The action was brought by the administrator of the estate of Mrs.

E. O. K'ng, who died August 1906, against the husband of the deceased to recover certain money alleged to belong to the estate which was held by the husband. The complainant de? manded an accounting of all of the funds In the hands of C. F.

King. Upon the report of the testimony by master of Sumter county the case was heard by Judge Sease, who made a decree that R. E. McElveen. the administrator of the estate, re? cover the sum of $6,102.49 from C.

F. King, with interest from February 16, 1909, the date of the letters of administration. There was a check for over $6,000 received by Mrs. King a few days be? fore her death. This was indorsed in 1 blank and turned over to her hus i band.

He placed the check to his credit In the bank. It was the con? tention of C. F. King that this was a gift. "The case depends." says the opin ion, "upon the question whether Mrs.

i King made a gift of the money to her husband or placed it in his hands as her agent or in trust. The circuit ceurt held that the check was not a gift, but placed In trust, and this I contention Is upheld by the supreme court.
