Pipers Lose Dick Barnett CLEVELAND, Dec. 21 (AP) Dick Barnett, formpr National Basketball Association player with the Syracuse Na tionals, said today he was "terribly disappointed" over a court order barring him from playing this season with the Cleveland Pipers in the rival American Basketball League. Common Pleas Court Judge Saul S. Danaeeau this morning granted Syracuse a permanent inunction preventing Barnett from competing with the Pipers only for this season. The judge pointed out his order did not compel Barnett to play with the Nats.

The reserve clause in the Syracuse contract appparently was the key factor in the ruling. Syracuse obtained Ihe injunction on grounds a contract Barnett signed the previous season gave it the legal right to his services this year. While on the subject of unfounded stories, Parker said he has been the recipient of numerous calls from sportswriters in Washington concerning the report that he was trying to obtain George Izo. a "second string quarterback from the Redskins. The latest angle on that yarn, as the Capitol scribes had it, was that Parker offered Big Daddy Lipscomb, the defensive tackle star, for the former Notre Dame passer.
