For three periods the doughty little squad from Morgan played havoc with their heavier rivals and it was not until the last period that the highly touted Aspinwall gridders hit their stride and registered their seven points.

With a cold wind sweeping the field the teams felt the sting of the blast but the Fayette gridders were not affected and went through their plays with dazzling speed to completely engulf the opposition who were kept in their own territory until the final period. Donelli Brothers Feature. Starting off on a break in the first period when a bad pass by Erdjack and a resulting fumble by Donnelli with Chiappini prouncing upon the ball gave the South Fayette gridmen the ball in the danger zone near the end of the initial period. From that point Mayo slithered around his own left end for the distance and a touchdown. Brother Allen converted with a drop kick, leaving the champs ahead by a 20-0 score.

The Aspinwall team rounded to form in the fourth period, showing the brand of football that had previously carried them to 19 straight conquests. Getting the ball in mid-field Aspinwall hammered its way to four consecutive first downs and this, followed by a forward pass, Emrick to Bonnelli, resulted in a touchdown, with Sersch kicking the resulting point. Greensburg High school football team, without extending itself, won the annual Thanksgiving Day battle from its old rival, Korwin High, by a 25 to 0 score here this afternoon before 4,000 chilled fans. It was the final game for 10 Greens-burgers and seven Clawsonmen.

The local r-coached eleven scored first in the closing minutes of the first quarter when Walton speared a Norwin pass on his own 42 and raced the distance to the goal line. After receiving a punt in midfield as the second period got under way, Merlino's third pass was almost intercepted by Runt, who knocked the ball into the hands of Walton, the latter sprinting across the goal line for Greensburg's second touchdown.
