(5) "Tim Joker Trumps an Ace." (Repeat. The Joker (Cesar Romero) is bark to kidnap a wealthy Maharajah in a colorful bit ot tomfoolery. As usual, Batman and Robin play onlookers in part one, while the Joker flashes his ingenuity. Kids will enjoy the kidnaping sequences and the Joker's fancy hideout. P.

m. iJTJ CB (B-Bob Hope Theater. "The Highest Fall of All." I Repeat). Fairly absorbing drama with some interesting behind-the-scenes information on movie stunt men. The play centers around the desire of one such stunt man to jump off a bridge from which 200, statistically, have jumped and only four survived.

The big question here is whether he's i1.sk-ing his life for fortune or simply to prove something to his family or himself. Stuart Whitman is effective in the lead. tO :00 p. m. CD (J) (H) Green Acres.

(Repeat). The dia logue has a particularly amusing ring in this rural hulf hour show. It seems the cow Is expecting a calf, but the neighbors are under the impression that Lisa Douglas is about to become a mother. The comedy staits off with a rain storm sequence that's also good for chuckles. p.

m. (3) The Big Valley. "Tunnel of Gold." (Re-peat). A tense, well-plotted tale which should keep fans tuned in. A band of outlaws come to Stockton to steal a gold shipment and the Rarkley clan becomes involved, particularly Audi who's held captive In a mercantile store during the operation.

The action is fast-paced and the subplot about a wife and husband and their troubles doesn't get in the way. 9:30 p. m. CD (53 ij Dick Van Dyke. "Draw Mc a Pear." (Repeat).

Slick comedy show finds a sultry teacher making a big play for art student Dick Van Dyke, right in front of wife Mary Tyler Moore. The tlckli.sh situation, well handled by star Van Dyke and Miss Moore, doesn't spark the usual high quota of laughs, however. 1. 31. (TO nig Show (Cont.) One of the obvious reasons for the formation of the fourth network is that feature films, upon which most Independents must re-ly for a lurge share of their programming, are becoming not only scarce, but prohibitively expensive.

When ABC was launched there were just 51 commer cial TV Btations in this coun try to be served by the three networks. There are now over 700 commercial stations and the same three networks. Quite logically, Overmyer and Treyz reason that the time is ripe for this ambitious project. A total investment of more than $100 million Is planned over the next five years, Overmyer said. If the announced plans are even halfway fulfilled, the public cannot help but benefit.

All of the Overmyer stations, by the way, will be fully color equipped as fast as the necessary electronic gear can be obtained from the over-bur-dened manufacturers. MORE BRIEFLY: J. The broadcaster will also show some of the color slides ho made during the journey with a heavy emphasis on Viet Nam.
