3. Unemployment insurance claims in Pittsburgh and Allegheny county since January 3 increased to a total of 55,496 as of Monday's records at the various district offices of the State Unemployment rp-pensation Bureau, it was announced yesterday. Monday's volume of business was the greatest for any day since the bureau offices opened January 3, a total of 19,778 jobless men and women registering 2,616 new claims and continuing 17,162. There were 13,529 claims scheduled for continuation yesterday and 9,360 today. A total of 2,064 persons failed to continue their claims Monday, for reasons of illness, employment procurement or invalidation of claims.

Confusion among some claimants over the number of visits required to bureau offices was cleared yesterday by John P. Noonan, district manager. He said that delay in claims procedure will be avoided if claimants report to the bureau office weekly on the scheduled day from the time of registration until the last compensation check is received a period of at least 16 weeks. If employment is procured, however, the claimant need not take time off from work to report, because employment after filing a claim automatically voids it, Noonan said, and claims must be renewed when employment ceases. Applicants were reminded to bring social security cards or numbers, or the identification number of state employment application, when claiming insurance.

LaSalle Company showroom. The line, one type of which is reproduced above, bears the lowest of Cadillac price tags, starting 400 below the previous basic quotation. The new series of cars on which the Cadillac division of General Motors will concentrate its drive for business in the early 1938 market went on display yesterday at the Eierman Cadillac- SPEAKER NAMED Dr. Frank Bonn, writer and lecturer, will speak on "Fascism, Communism and the American Reply" tomorrow night at 8:30 o'clock in the Shaw Avenue High school auditorium, McKeesport. It is a community forum lecture sponsored by the Temple Brotherhood of lomplete Group of Body Types Covered In Sixty Series.

A new series of cars known as the Cadillac Sixty, on which the Cadillac division of General Motors will concentrate its drive for business in the early 1938 market, was introduced here yesterday by the Eierman Cadillac-La Salle Company. The Sixty series covers a complete group of body types coupe, convertible coupe, four-door sedan and convertible sedan. The new cars are not to be confused with the Cadillac Sixty Special, which was exhibited in one body type, the touring sedan, at some of the major auto shows last fall. Although the line will bear the lowest of Cadillac price tags, starting at $400 below previous basic quotations, the same engineering principles, precise manufacturing methods and quality materials long associated with Cadillac standards will be maintained. Exterior of the Sixty combines a streamline flair witn rugged dependability.

The lines of the stainless steel grill extend horizontally around the front of the radiator, contributing to the effect of low-ness. Front fenders are high-crowned and deeply-valanced. The hood is the unbroken "alligator" type, hinged at the cowl. Modernity of the exterior is carried out in interior treatment. All-wool fabrics, freshly-designed hardware and comfortable cushions, with fully-carpeted front and rear compartments, symbolize the luxury of Cadillac products.

Engineering advances include the syncromatic shift, a newly-developed flywheel, hypoid axles, independent front wheel suspension and safety passenger WILL ADDRESS YOUTH Homer S.
