Inoculations will be given for protection against polio, diphtheria. whooping cough and tetanus.

Dr. Florence Marcus, Northeast District health officer, said: "The new clinic is designed primarily for those who are not enrolled in the Child Health Conferences, where such shots are also administered to pre-school children." Open for All Ages However, persons of any a age who are not under care of their own private physicians can get the inoculations. Dr. Marcus said that "We feel that more individuals will take advantage of the shots if a facility is opened at a certain time every week. However, those who able to pay are urged to see their family physician." If the pilot program is successful in the Northeast Health District, it will be tended to other parts of the county.

Covers 21 Communities The Northeast Health District covers 21 communities, including a part of Pittsburgh. and embraces a population of 300.000. Some of the localities in the Northeast Health District include: Lawrenceville, Penn Hills, Tarentum, Plum Borough, Springdale, Oakmont, Verona, Indiana Township, Harrison Township, East Deer and Brackenridge. Seek Suspect In Slugging County detectives are searching for a man they pect of savagely beating a Clairton youth as he tried to protect his date last Friday night. Ted Botula, chief of county homicide detectives, said yesterday he is seeking the suspect in a similar beating in Elizabeth several months ago. Botula said the suspect has disappeared from his usual haunts.

Botula made his announcement after questioning for the first time the victim of the latest beating, Harry Soderberg, 19, of 506 Farnsworth Clairton. Soderberg is in satisfactory condition in Mercy Hospital. Botula said Soderberg was struck on the back of the head by the assailant. The attack occurred on a lane connecting Routes 31 and 51 in Forward Township. The girl was unhurt.

OBITUARIES HELEN RADZYMINSKI Requiem mass will be sung tomorrow at 10 a. m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Brereton Avenue, for Mrs. Helen Radzyminski, 74, mother of John H. Radzyminski, staff representative of the United Steelworkers Union.

She died Saturday (July 29). Mrs. Radzyminski, who resided at 5 Brightwood Drive, Kennedy Township, was the widow of John Radzyminski. A native of Mrs. Radzyminski had been a resident of the Pittsburgh district since 1904.

She was a member of the Army Veterans Auxiliary. is survived by Polishe a daughter, Mrs. Wanda Walat; 1 five sons, Zygmont, Edward, Raymond, John all of Pittsburgh, and Thaddeus Radzyminski, of Smoke Run, a sister, Mrs. Mary Jendrzewski, of Osceola Mills, 15 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Szal Mortuary, Helen Street, McKees Rocks, Burial will be in St. Stanlislaus Cemetery, Millvale, MRS MARGARET DAVIS Mrs. Margaret Davis, 89, wife of the late Dr. Alden O. Davis of Charleroi, died Sunday at her home in the King Edward Apartments.

Mrs. Davis, the former Margaret Belle Harper, was born in Meadville, Pa. She was graduated from Allegheny College in 1893 and was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and a lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church. Dr. Davis was a practicing physician in Pittsburgh and Charleroi for many years.

Mrs. Davis had lived in Pittsburgh since his death in 1939. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. S. O.

Sixsmith of Garden City, Long Island, N. and Miss Jennie' Olson of Pittsburgh, Services will be held at H. Samson's at 10:30 a. m. today.

Germany, U.S. Agree On Defense Pentagon Reports McNamara, Strauss Are in Agreement WASHINGTON, July 31 (P) -The Pentagon reported today that the U. S. and West German defense chiefs reached complete agreement in discussions here on the need to improve both conventional and nuclear strength to defend Western Europe. The Defense Department said that in summarizing the discussions between Secretary of Defense Robert S.

McNamand West Germany's defense minister, Franz Josef Strauss. The two talked during Strauss' visit to this country began July 13 and is ending tomorrow. The talks included: discussion of present and future planning for NATO; U. S. man military cooperation, and the Berlin problem, the statement said.

In reporting complete agreement on the need conventional and nuclear modFarms ernization, the Pentagon said both McNamara and Strauss "agreed balanced and gradual system of deterrent will remain the basis of defense." The McNamara meeting also included, the ment said, extensive discussions about joint use of military installations, training facilities, and depots belonging to the two nations. Also considered was West Germany's plan for increased buying of modern arms. $325.000 Set For Streets Mayor Joseph M. Barr yesterday asked City Council to appropriate $325,000 for two street reconstruction jobs which will benefit motorists traveling through the Southside and West End. One ordinance calls for penditure of $175,000, including $10,000 for rehabilitation of water lines, in improving Bingham Street, between S.

Tenth Street and S. Fourth Street. A new concrete surface will be laid on the heavily Southside street. In the Broadhead district of West End, a 34-foot concrete road will be constructed on doga Street, between Middletown Road and Berry Street. Ladoga Street has been used almost exclusively as a rightof-way of Pittsburgh Railways Co.

Elimination of trolleys in the West End, however, made the improvement possible, Mayor Barr said. Work on both projects will begin late this summer or early autumn if Council approves the requests, as pected. Pretty Woman Holds Up Bank GIBSON, N. July 31 (P) A slightly-built woman described as "rather nice looking" held up the Gibson Branch of the Commercial State Bank today and got away with $15,400. The woman, dressed in a blue print dress and her black hair bobbing about her shoulders, shook as she pointed a .38 caliber revolver at three bank employes and ordered them to fill up two money bags.

After the robbery she ordered the three to lie on the floor for 10 minutes. "I don't want to have to shoot anybody," she was quoted as saying.
