Member Of Hood Board Of Directors Dies i Funeral services will be held Saturday morning for Rev. Howard pbold, D.D.. Perkasie, who Hied Tuesday, July 4, following a lingering illness. Elected to the Hood College board of directors in 1940 by the Philadelphia Synod of the Evangelical and Reformed Church, Dr. Obold had been unable to attend the last few board pieetinjzs because of failing health.

I Dr, and Mrs. Obold made their home in Perkasie, where the re- ftired minister was formerly pas- ftor of St. Stephen's Reformed church. He had also held pastorates at Alexandria, Irwin and Quarryville, Pa. A native of Reading, Dr.

Stevenson, 58, Dies At Waynesboro Waynesboro, July 5 iVP)--- Wilbur H. Stevenson, district soil conservation officer in Washington county, Maryland for the past 11 years, died at Waynesboro Hospital today of a heart condition. He was 58. A native of Ringgold. he had been in the soil conservation office at Waynesboro before going to Hagerstown, Md.

Prior to the first World War he an instructor of horticulture at Purdue University. After the iwar he went to Midvale, Pa. where pie was postmaster, station agent and operated a farm and orchard. In addition to his widow, a son and daughter survive. Burial will be at Waynesboro Friday.

Deaths Mrs. Agnes Sewell Mrs. Agnes Sewell. colored, widow of Clinton Sewell, formerly of New Market, died Tuesday, 1:30 p. at the home of her daughter, Mrs.

Mary E. Brown, 1119 Parrish street. Baltimore, aged 63 years. Surviving besides her daughter, is a son. Clinton C.

Sewell: two sisters, Mrs. Annie Franklin. Baltimore, and Mrs. Fannie Stanton. Daisy.

The body rests at the funeral home in New York until Friday, 1 p. when it will be taken to Simpson's Methodist church there, for funeral services, at 2 o'clock, ST). Interment will be in the church cemetery. W. E.

Falconer, funeral director. The chancel was banked with palms, roses and white gladioli, and the altar was adorned with tall white candles and large white gladioli. The bride who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white slipper satin with fitted bodice and an illusion neckline. The long sleeves ended in points at the wrists. Over the full skirt with its long train fell a three-quarter length veil of bridal illusion caught to a headdress of stiffened net and seed pearls.

She carried an old fashioned bridal bouquet of -white roses and baby breath centered with a white orchid and a shower of white satin ribbon. The only jewelry worn by the bride was a rhinestone necklace, a gift from the groom. Mrs. Austin Gaver, cousin of the bride was matron of honor and a pink gown of net over taffeta. She carried a bouquet of white gladioli.
