Ours was the sneezing kind. For two days we sneezed and sneezed.

until we all but unhinged our spine and our ribs creaked and groaned. All the infection was in the front of our face, and a very uncomfortable place, to be sure. When the sneezing stopped, then came the dripping perspiration, worse than August. Very unfunny, indeed. the sneezing flu.

But it didn't last many days. There is a kind that hangs on and on, complete with cough, and that's not good either. "My flu and how it hit me" is a favorite topic of conversation Norma Dresback Is Bride Of Edward Nuendorf Miss Norma Jean Dresback, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Dresback, 1605 East Lawrence, and Edward Charles Nuendorf, son of Mr.

and Mrs. Walter Nuendorf, 875 West Division, were married Sunday at 2:30 p. m. in Grace Methodist church by Rev. Charles Pettit.

The bride wore white satin and her finger tip length veil was held by a Juliet cap. Her flowers were white gardenias, roses, and button chrysanthemums. Her sister in law, Mrs. C. G.

Ellis, was matron of honor in blue satin and net, and her sisters, Mrs. Eugene Dieckhoff and Mrs. Glenwood Shadrick were attendants in pink taffeta and net and all three carried colonial bouquets. Music was by Joyce Meador, SOloist, and Rufus Williams, ganist. Ushers were Ralph Dombroski, Erwin Hienkel, Harold Doddek, and Eugene Dieckhoff.

A reception followed in Staley club house for 75 guests. After a wedding trip to Chicago, the couple will live in 256 North Church street. Both are with Staley's. ARLENES "The Store You Made Successful" 147 NORTH WATER STREET right now, affording some small compensatory pleasure to the victims if they can find anyone to listen. This one answered the telephone and when he arose to leave he was dripping with the telltale cold perspiration.

That one was shopping and just barely got to her home in time to flop gasping into bed and stay there for a few days. Another one had a two weeks bout and looks resentfully at the friend who had it only three days and didn't miss Christmas. By Layah Riggs One bridal couple left on their trip with both suffering from the miserable ailment, but headed south and managed to shake it off in a few days. Such tales raise the hair on the heads of the medical profession, for they think quite rightly that a flu patient had better go to bed if he wouldn't flirt with pneumonia. L.
