Audreanelle Freeman, Mrs. Ruth Eleanor Afflick and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Roleson were in Memphis last night to attend the Winners Bridge Tourament at Hotel Peabody. Mrs.

John Ellen Kromas and infant son, William Allen, left this morning for Key West, to join their husband and father who is serving aboard the submarine, USS Threadsin. They expect to remain until November, when Seaman Kromas will be discharged. Mrs. Kromas, the former Miss Ruby Henson has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs.

D. Henson the past two months. Mrs. Robert Holmes sons, Jimmy and Eddie of Killen, Texas, are visting relatives and friends here for the next two weeks. Mr.

and Mrs. Bobby Treece are parents of a son born last night the Chickasawba. Hospital. The baby, who has been chael, has a brother, Bobby David, and a sister, Sandra Kay. Mr.

and Mrs. Dwight C. Jacoby and children of -Morenci, are visiting Mrs. Jacoby's parents, Dr. and Mrs.

R. L. Johnson. Mrs. Jacoby, the former Miss Sarah Johnson taught school here several years.

Mrs. Alma McNeill will enter the Memphis Baptist Hospital tomorrow where she will undergo major surgery on both eyes. She will be confined to the hospital several days. R. L.

Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Jacoby children have returned from Ethel, where they visited relatives. (Sonny) Lloyd Mayfield is a patient in Baptist Hospital in Memphis, -His condition is reported to be improved. He is in room 352.

His parents. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Lloyd have returned home. Mrs.

W. E. Parks and daughter, Mary. have returned to their home in Caldwell, after visiting Mrs. Parks' parents, Dr.

and Mrs. R. L. Johnson. Miss Barbara Monaghan has returned from Louisville, where she was the guest of her aunt, Mrs.

Leland Chatham. Mrs. F. D. Underwood.

who has been a patient in a hospital in Memphis, is now at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. H. Houchins. Her condition is reported to be unchanged.

Miss Dorothy Ann Langely is spending the week in Tupelo, visiting her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Langley.

Marriage Licenses The following couple have recived marriage licenses from the county clerk's office: Leon Mouradian of Lake Forrest. and Clara Jean Hicks of Manila. the La Nueve Bridge Club. Mrs. Mary Hatfield is hostess to the Chillion Club.

Duplicate Bridge League has meeting. Mrs. R. D. Hughes.

entertains the Kibitzer Club. Saturday Duplicate Bridge League meets at Hotel Noble at 1 p. m. Vendredi Bridge Club Has Meeting Mrs. Clyde Patton was hostess to the Vendredi Bridge Club Friday night at the Razorback.

Winners in the games played during the evening were Mrs. ElClark, high, Mrs. Sanford Tomlinson, second high, and Mrs. Bob Metcalfe, bridgo. At the conclusion of the games, the hostess served a dessert course.

Davis' selections were "'Through The Years" and "The Lord's Prayer." I Miss Marian Mayes recited the, poem "Grow Old Along With by Browning. Maid of Honor Miss Martha Jane Bartholomew, sister of the bride, served as maid -of honor. She was gowned in ballerina length blue organdy formal and pinned a white carnation corsage. at her shoulder. The tapers were lighted by Mrs.

Edward Peterson and Miss Marilyn Doughtery, who were gowned in ballerina length blue net over blue taffeta formals and wore white carnations in their hair. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown with a white lace bodice, peter pan collar and self buttons to; the waist attached to a full white organdy skirt worn over several petticoats. Her shoulder length veil fell from a half hat. She carried a white satin Bible topped with a lavendar orchid. Raymond 0.

Berknap. served his brother as best man and Edwin Barger and James England served as ushers. Mrs. Bartholomew was dressed in a navy blue sheer with navy sories and pinned a white carnation corsage at her shoulder. Mrs.

Belknap was dressed in pink linen complemented with white cessories and pinned white carna-! tions at her shoulder. Reception Given A reception as held in the dining hall of the church immediately following the wedding. The table from which the guests were served was covered with a yellow cloth overlaid with an imported cutwork linen cloth. The four-tier wedding cake, topped with i 2 miniature bride and groom, and solemnized at 10 a.m. at the morning, Miss Patsy Ruth BarMrs.

"Riding Hood" Mr. and.Mrs. Russell Baugh Honored With Reception Here Mr. and Mrs. Russell Baugh who are moving to Houston.

were guests of honor at a reception given immediately following church services last night at the First Baptist Church. Mr. Baugh served as Sunday School superintendent and Mrs. Baugh was a teacher. The guests were served from a table covered with a green cloth overlaid with a cutwork Italian cloth.

The table was centered with summer flowers in a silver compote and green tapers candelabra. Crystal punch bowls were on either end of the table. Those who presided at. the table were Mrs. Jerry Boggs, Mrs.

H. L. Halsell, Mrs. Billy Ellis and Mrs. Vernal Deal.

Mr. and Mrs. Baugh and the Rev. and Mrs. E.

C. Brown formed the receiving line. Music provided throughout the evening by Mrs. C. Murray Smart.
