26 Decatur Girl Announces Secret Marriage to Harrisburg Man. J. M. U. Graduate and Delta Sig.

Announcement was made at last Monday's Lambda Tau Delta buffet of the marriage on Dec. supper, 26 in Urbana of Miss Beulah Vannette Kistler, a member of the sorority, and Charles: Nelson Pankey, Millikin graduate and meniber of Delta Sigma Phi. The cerewas performed by Rev. Mr. mony Guthie of Urbana First Methodist church.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Kistler, 210 South Fairview avenue, and has been in Linn Scruggs ready to wear department for three and a half years.

She was chosen "Miss Decatur" in 1928. Mr. Pankey has been associated with the Pankey Bros. Bakery in Harrisburg since his graduation from Millikin. He is the son of Mr.

and Mrs. Wilson Pankey of Harrisburg. April the couple will go Biloxi, for two weeks, and then will be at home in 515 North Main street. Harrisburg. Mrs.

J. Hoewing, 1505 North Monroe street. will entertain the Bethesda society in her home Tuesday afternoon. Banquet Friday for Delphi Group Delphi International, young business Women's luncheon club, is observing founders' day with A formal banquet Friday night In the Decatur club. It expected that abou: 30 young women will attend.

Dinner will be at 6:30 p. followed by A short program and an evening of bridge. Delphi chapter will have its regular lunchcon Monday in the Decatur club at 12 noon, with Miss Alice Witzeman in charge of the program. Impromptu talks will be given by Miss Mabel Bass. Mrs.

Chenoweths Have 50th Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Chenoweth.

1738 North Whitchell avenue. observed their 50th wedding anniversary Tuesday, but on account of the recent illness of Mr. Chenoweth celebrated quietly at home. Many messages of congratulations were received. Mr.

Lutheran Students to Meet at Millikin Miss Mary Markley, one of the secretaries of the board of education of the United Lutheran church of America will be in Decatur Monday to meet Lutheran students of Millikin, and will be at Aston Hall from 7:30 to 9:30 Monday evening. Lutheran students on campuses throughout the United States are organized into a Lutheran Student association of America which will observe its tenth anniversary by having a general national conference at Rockford, during the Christmas holidays of 1932. Miss Stina Eklund, of Decatur, is one of the national advisers of the organization. No effort will be made to organize the Lutheran students at Millikin, but Miss Markley is eager to meet with all of them.

Pi Phi Initiates Eight Saturday Beta Phi sorcrity held formal initiation services for eight pledges in the chapter house Saturday at 4:30 p. m.
