A 1929 graduate of the Uni versity of Pittsburgh's medi cal school, he did graduate work at the University of Chicago Eye Clinic and Herman Knapp Memorial Eye Hospital, New York City, and was a diplomate of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He was a U.S. Navy lieuten ant commander from 1943 to 1945. Dr. Statti was a member of the American Medical Asso ciation, Pennsylvania Medical Society, Allegheny County Medical Society, American College of Surgeons, American Association of Railway geons, Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology and Pittsburgh Ophthalmological Socie ty.
