He preceded her in death. She married Dale Blankenship in 1957. Monday. Burial will be in Dodge Cemetery, Mattoon. Mrs. Carter was born in Dudley, daughter of Benjamin F. and Sadie Miller.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mattoon and Tri-Beta Sunday School Class. She married George Austin Carter in 1932. He died in 1966. Surviving are her son, Austin L. of Mattoon; sister, Lottie A.

Wayne (Jonni) Warren of Reno; Mrs. Rodney (Dannell) Chesnut of Panama; mother of Walshville; brothers, Richard and Paul of Walshville; Robert of Hillsboro; sisters, Mrs. James (Betty) DeWerff of Nokomis; Mrs. Dan (Therese) Saathoff of Panama; Mrs. John (Phyllis) Lively of Wagner; one grandson.

Fitzgerald was born in Lovington, daughter of Daniel L. and Ilene Reedy. She was retired from the Scott State Bank of Bethany, was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church of Bethany and president of the Altar Society. She married Everett Fitzgerald in 1947.

Surviving are her husband; son, Tom of Bethany; daughters, Mrs. Michael (Jane) Price of Decatur; Mrs. Harrison (Ellen) Park of Streator; brothers, Tom and William, both of Lovington; six grandchildren. One daughter, three sisters and one brother preceded her in death. Harris TAYLORVILLE Mrs.

Russell (Beatrice Greear) Harris, 71, of Taylorville died 11:50 a.m. Saturday (July 25, 1987) in St. Vincent Memorial Hospital, Taylorville. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Sutton Memorial Home, Taylorville, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m.

Monday. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville. Mrs. Harris was born in Alton, daughter of Charles and Cynthia Greear. She was a member of Assembly of God Church of Taylorville.

She married Russell Harris in 1936. Surviving are her husband; sons, Bob of Mount Zion; Michael R. of Pana; daughter, Susan Moore of Edinburg; sisters, Edna Skinner of Palmer; Genevieve McMahon of Taylorville; Betty June Wright of Nokomis; five grandchildren. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death. Hefley IRVING Mrs.

Lloyd (Loretta House) Hefley, 82, of Irving died 9:05 a.m. Saturday (July 25, 1987) in Hillsboro Health Care Center, Hillsboro. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Bass Funeral Home, Hillsboro, with visitation after 4 p.m. Monday.

Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Witt. Mrs. Hefley was born in Rountree Township, daughter of Hiram and Martha House. She was employed at a drug store.

She married Lloyd Hefley in 1943. He died in 1948. Seven brothers and six sisters preceded her in death. He was a former member of the Ford Motor Co. district advertising committee and was Lincoln Courier "Man of the Month." He married Virginia Belyea in 1946. Surviving are his wife; sons, R. William "Tex" of Lincoln; Richard B. of Scottsdale, Lois Handley of Colorado do 'Springs, four grandchildren.

Lawder SHELBYVILLE Mrs. Cecil (Celeste McConkey) Lawder, 85, of Shelbyville, formerly of Sparta, died 3:22 a.m. Sunday (July 26, 1987) in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in Schroeder-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, with visitation 1 to 3 p.m.

Howe Yockey Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Rockwood. Memorials: Ebenezer Church and Cemetery, Rockwood. Mrs. Lawder was born in Randolph County, daughter of William and Susan McConkey.

She was a member Trinity Presbyterian Church of Sparta. She married Cecil Lawder in 1935. He died in 1963. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. George (Sue) Frazier of Shelbyville; sister, Wilma Munson of Bonita Springs, two grandchildren.

O'Gara was born in Chicago, daughter of Michael and Catherine Hooks. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Rosary and Altar Society of the church. She married Thomas O'Gara. He died in 1972.
