casket was late with him in it because family built it themselves The Veys worked the whole night before the service on March 30 They put stain on the casket and it dry in time They were a half hour late Vey who died at age 62 would have appreciated his efforts said his wife Ruth Vey loved it because more love than most people she said Vey was bedridden with kidney cancer for the past year His family faces medical bills of nearly $30000 As the family worked on the pro ject they worked on their grief too was a real healing said Mrs brother Willy lani gan The Rev Don Dodd of ree dom in Christ enduring board game Scrabble died Sunday at a hospi tal He was 93 Butts died of natural causes said Chris Chestney owner of Dapson Chestney uneral Home Butts received patents for sever al architectural structural systems he designed and was an accom plished artist and photographer He also developed many other board games after inventing Scrab ble Butts went to work for the New York firm Holden McLaughlin and Associates after receiving a degree in architecture from the University of Pennsylvania in 1924 During the Depression when there was little architectural work to be had he
