Rites Monday for Hampton Man HAMPTON Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Green Funeral Home and at the Alexander Reformed Church for William Phillip Ainmerman, 75, who died at the Lutheran Hospital here Friday after an extended illness. The Rev. David M. Beggs, Congregational pastor here, officiated and the Rev. Mr.

Van- derWbude, pastor the Reformed Church, was in charge at Alexander. Burial was at Alexander. Mr. Ammerman was born near Ackley in. Grundy County Jan.

8, 1877, to Caroline and Lupke Ammerman. At the age of 17 he moved with his parents to a farm near Alexander. Mr. Am merman was married .8, 1903, to Carrie Symens. He engaged in farming near Alexander until 1915, when he moved to Alexander and engaged in stock buying.

In 1939 he moved to Hampton. Survivors are his wife, a son, Alfred L. Ammerman, of Hampton; a sister, Mrs. Minnie DeVrie Breckenridge, two brothers, John of Alexander anc George of Goldfield; and two granddaughters, Carolyn of Hamp ton and Pvt. Camille Ammerman stationed at Fort Sam Houston Tex.
