PAGE EIGHT THE WAXAHACHIE DAM LIGHT Deaths and Funerals Gus Connor Andrews Corsicana Couple Post Bond Rites Set Graveside MAN Dr. Bond Services Conducted FORT WORTH-Dr. Thomas B. Bond died late Tuesday night in Fort Worth. He was the brother-in-law of Mrs.

J.D. Kirven of Funeral services were held today at the Ridglea Presbyterian Church with Dr. Clifford Williams officiating. Burial was in a Fort Worth cemetery. Dr.

Bond, a native of Hillsboro, was a member of the Ridglea Presbyterian Church and a member of many professional societies. He was head of the Radiation Center in Fort Worth. Dr. Bond was past president of the Goldhead Cane Club of Tarrant County Medical Society, past president of the Exchange Club, was a former chairman of the health and hospital committee of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce and was a member of the Volunteers of America. Dr.

Bond was former director of the Texas Division of the American Cancer Society and a past president of Tarrant County unit of American Cancer Society. He also was a past president of Texas Radiological Society. He was past chancellor. Fellow American College of Radiology and was a past president of the Tarrant County Medical Society. Survivors include his widow; and a sister, Mrs.

Martha Hostell of Abilene. B. Connor, 75, a resident of Italy for 50 years, died at 4:35 p.m. Wednesday at W. C.

Tenery Community Hospital. Funeral services are to be field at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home at Italy with the Rev. Jack Guthrie and the Rev. Jerry Hopkins officiating.

Burial will be in Italy Cemetery. Mr. Connor, who was born at Bowie on Jan. 5, 1896, was formerly a constable and deputy marshal for the city of Italy. He also was connected with the Italy public schools for 20 years.

Mr. Connor was a member of the Italy American legion Post and a member of the Italy Assembly of God. He served with the 36th Infantry Division in France during World War I. Survivors include his widow; three sons. Tommy Connor of Italy, G.

L. Connor of Pasadena and Travis Connor of Grand Prairie; three daughters, Mrs. CleoSingleton of Duncan, Mrs. Otis Hester of Italy and Mrs. James Rudd of Italy; four sisters, Mrs.

Cora Dean of California, Mrs. Nora Erwin of California, Mrs. Jesse Martinez and Mrs. Teresa Lobb, both of Oklahoma; 18 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. Rites Set ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.— Mrs.

Virginia McDuffy Andrews, a former Waxahachie, resident, died Wednesday night at Albuquerque. She and her husband, the late Robert E. Andrews, lived in Waxahachie until the late 1930s when they moved to Borger, Tex. One son, E. H.

Andrews of Abilene, survives. Graveside services are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Burial Park at Waxahachie under direction of Rudolph- Owens Funeral Home. Antonio Campos Funeral services are pending for Antonio Campos, 58, who died Wednesday night at his residence on IH 35E near Maypearl Road. Arrangements are with Rudolph-Owens Funeral Home.
