Cooky and Candy Sale Tomorrow For Benefit Beta Hot Lunch Program A sale of home-made cookies And candy will be held at the N.C. Co. store Saturday by the Beta Sigma Phi. Also, the Doll will be bn display and tickets for its raffle will be sold there. The doll is now on display in the show window of the Nome Motor Co.

Lawrence Okpealuk Returns From FL Benning Infantry Radio Maintenance School Lawrence Okpealuk, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Okpealuk of Nome and a graduate last spring from Nome High, returned recently from Fort Benning where he studied infantry radio maintenance, completing the course. This course trains enlisted men to repair and maintain all radio sets and allied equipment peculiar to the infantry units.

Ray Wise, who legally adopted the name Mala, after jiis portrayal of that part in the film was in his late and had lived in Candle, Kotzebue and Nome before he moved to the film capital.
