Feature Winner Disqualified: Fav orite Is Crowned King: Walter Camp Picks All Star Eleven: Amateur Baseball Games: Soccer Judge Ouinn Declared Champion Two Year Old Mile Handicap Awarded to Runner Up I After "Real Winner Bumped Rival in the Stretch The Pacific Union -handicap brought the 2 year olds out. for their first mile trip of the year at Emeryville yesterday. It was a race badly mixed up! The best colt won the better part of four lengthy but there was no kick when the judge disqualified him and gave the brackets to the favorite. The nominal winner was Mai Reis' bis Ravclston gelding, Chester Krum, which hsd Kederis aboard. Judge Quinn was a 6 too favorite and his troubles began on the first turn, "where he fell to his knees.

Chester Krumm was off well and mevse'd through the bunch at various stages, the of Miss Picnic, which finished third, and Lady Elizabeth, fourth at the wire, both claiming that Chester Krum interfered with their chances. At that Chester Krum won going asvay with Judge Quinn a length in front of Miss Picnic. Vosper, who rode the favorite, rushed up to the judges as soon as he dismounted and the crowd from the betting ring was gathered about to await the decision. Vosper did not have to complain. Chester Krum's last -offense, boring into Judge Qninn on the rail, was committed in the last sixteenth and the judges saw it.
