Natalie is 26, Tony 40: he's married to the former Christine Kaufmann, German actress, while she's unattached at the moment. Question Why, but why.

do people like the Beatles so much, I don't. And plenty of my friends wonder why also. I am 12, and I don't care for them C. C. Answer 'Look at It this way if everybody liked the same things, then life would he pretty dull, wouldn't It? There'd be nobody to argue with.

Question What's the use of advertising if you make something look like it going to be wonderful and it turns out to be just the opposite? think "Please Don't Eat the Daisies is a very wonderful show. But when they go around announcing that David McCallum and Robert Vaughn are on, and then give each of them not even one minute on ine set, i think it's awful and so do all of my girl friends. Please, why was this? M. P. Answer Frankly, to get more people to watch TIease Don't Eat the Daisies." The show Isn't exactly setting TV afire audience-wise, and It was figured that the addition of Vaughn and McCallum as "guests" would help out.

It was advertised that they would appear but not that they would appear for any great length of time. It may not be fair, but that's showbiz advertising. Question Quite a while ago on either the Milton Berle or Jackie Gleason Show there was a blonde gin wun large eyes, a cowgirl outfit and a straight face irom lexas who used to say: "I like the wide open spaces!" without cracking a smile. Wasn't that Carolyn Jones? B. J.

Answer No, that was a girl named Laurie Anders. As a result of her TV appearances, she starred In a comedy western feature called "The Marshal's Daughter," back in 1953, has not been seen In movies or on TV for some time. Question Pertaining to a recent "Run For Your Life" episode, we need clarification settle a family argument. the show, I interpreted that Peter Lawford was Anne Helm's illegitimate father, and confessing that he killed her supposed father to honor soul, he meant that he caused her to shoot him to even the score. F.

T. Answer It was nothing quite as luried as that. In the show, Mr. Lawford played the role of a man running away from a murder charge. Throughout the program, one was supposed to believe that Lawford wan innocent of the crime, with the conclusion revealing that he really wa.s guilty of the crime.

The motive was one concerning money, and did not involve any sub rosa relationship between the characters played by Lawford and Miss Helm. (For an answer to your question about any TV program -or actor, write to TV KEV MAILBAG. Co Post- Gazette.) cial witn uaroi Burnett, rews. C. R.

M. Answer You're right; at Carnegie Hall," one of the pleasanter moments on TV during the past few years. Deborah Kerr Is seldom seen on video which is TVs loss. By the way, "Marnie" was originally Intended to be the film featuring the screen return of Grace Kelly, some years ago. When the plans didn't materialize, the story was postponed until Alfred Hitchcock finally made it with Tippi Hedren in the role.

Question A comedy play was reported to have started rehearsals September 15, 1965, which was to star Durward Kirby. I have seen nothing further about it, and I am wondering if the play will soon be on Broadway. Can you give me any information about this? K. H. W.

Answer The play was opened and quietly departed after a performance or two; It was not well received by the critics. Question I would like to know the real names of The Three Stooges and their ages. -A. A. C.

A The original Three Stooges consisted of brothers Aloe and Jerry Howard, and Larry Fine, When Curley became ill, he was replaced by a third brother, Shemp Howard. It Is reported that he is slated to have his own variety program soon, as a replacement during the summer months, so you'll probably be seeing him regularly before long.
